Pilates is a form of exercise that helps to strengthen muscles and improves the health of our bones. The modern lifestyle and sedentary work causes many complications in everyday life, which refer to pain in various parts of the body. To fight these problems it requires specific exercises.

The solution may gradually give Pilates, which includes wide variety of exercises and stretching, selected and adapted according to the needs of everyone. There are programs for beginners and experts. The main concern of this kind of exercise is breathing.




The main concern of Pilates is breathing since when learning is done correctly everyone can gain full control of his body and mental calmness. Most, if not all, of the Pilates exercises are based mainly on the breathing process.

Below we will analyze some of the basic exercises that you can apply even in your personal space:


Start lying on your back and give boost to your pelvis upwards. It will help a lot if you tighten the abdomen and buttocks before applying the exercise. It is the most appropriate exercise to strengthen the back of the legs.


Start facing down, stretching your arms in front of your head. Stretch both the right arm and left leg and hold for 5 seconds. Do the same this time with the other arm and leg. Repeat 5 times and pay attention to the neck as it should be in line with the head.

Cat distension

This distension is perfect for spine stretching. Sit facing down with your knees bent and move up and down your back slowly. The head and pelvis are stable.
